Calandra's Mediterranean Grill: An Exquisite Dining Experience in Fairfield, NJ

The staff was all very nice and attentive. The food was so delicious. The drinks were really good too. I got the roasted duck special of the day. The duck was still crispy even with the sauce on it. The tiramisu was also delicious, but I expected that from calandras. It's a fancier restaurant than I expected it to be, but the food was really really good.

I came here with a large group for a business dinner and we all had such a wonderful experience! I worked closely with Tom to plan everything. From the very beginning, he made the process so easy, and the service on the day of the event was just as amazing! We were seated in the large room next to the bar, and even though we shared the space with other guests, the partition made it feel intimate while still giving us plenty of room to stand, mingle, and enjoy ourselves. Everything we had was absolutely delicious ..from the antipasto and calamari appetizers to the house salad and our entrees (short rib, salmon with dill, and chicken balsamico). To top it all off, the assorted desserts and pastries were the perfect sweet ending! The servers were so attentive and made sure everyone was happy throughout the night. The pictures don’t do this place justice! There has been a renovation, and the space looks so much brighter now. The white chairs and white walls really open up the room.. giving it a fresh and elegant feel. I can’t recommend this place enough especially for larger groups.. the food was fantastic and the service was wonderful

Always a great experience at Calandra’s Mediterranean in Fairfield. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, and they carry Hoboken Brewing, which is always a plus. Great spot for a solid meal and a good beer.

This is my first time eating here. It is for my daughter's birthday dinner. The food and service are a great experience. The waiter is friendly to explain the menu. The food came out fast and fresh hot from the kitchen. I will recommend it for special occasions.

Recently attended a baby shower here and it was marvelous! Bright, well maintained space that was very warm and inviting. They made a great pineapple martini and the cake was delectable! The buffet of food that was offered had a nice variety for all tastes, Tom is a guy beaming with hospitality! It was so great celebrating my friend at such an exceptional venue!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We celebrated my friend’s 50th birthday at Calandra’s Mediterranean Grill, and it was wonderful! They make the best lychee martini and espresso martini, and the live entertainment added such a great vibe. The gentleman singing even performed Happy Birthday for my friend without us asking — such a sweet touch! The food and service are always fabulous every time I visit. Highly recommend!

Wow - they renovated Calandra's Mediterranean and it looks gorgeous. Everything is shiny and sparkly. I loved their holiday decorations. There was a wedding reception going on when we were there. We had lunch for 12 family memembers in the back room. Food and service were top notch. I loved my rib sandwich. I tried my sister-in-law's pizza & my sisters gnocchi and both were delicious. Their cappuccino was awesome. Highly recommend Calandra's !!!

Beautiful ambiance but I made the choice of ordering room service from them while staying the night at the hotel. The call was answered quickly and the woman was so helpful helping me decide what to order. Delivery to my room was prompt and they brought it inside and it was displayed nicely. I ordered the rigatoni bolognese and chocolate covered strawberries. I asked for bread and olive oil and Parmesan. Everything was perfect! The bread was warm with crispy crust and soft inside—delicious! It came with butter tabs on the side too. The rigatoni was saucy and hearty and very good. The chocolate covered strawberries were fresh and the whipped cream tasted homemade and they were the perfect finish to a great meal!
